What Is a Latent AGV?

A latent AGV is a low robot that moves under a cart. Staff also call it a lurking AGV. The robot moves under a rack or cart and tows it to a new spot. This robot stays flat and low to the ground. It slides under carts with no ramps needed. Warehouses can use this robot with the carts they already own. No custom pallets are needed to start. Most models in this line use magnetic stripe navigation. A thin strip on the floor guides each robot along its path. Some models move forward and back with full rotation. Other models move forward only, with arc turns at each corner. A few top models add dual-steering wheels for side-to-side moves. Teams pick the model that fits their load size and floor layout. Towing weight spans 150 kg on small units. It goes up to 5000 kg on the biggest models. One line covers small parts carts and heavy rack loads alike.
